Description
Under direction of the Core Business Systems Management, Specialist II is responsible for the support functions related to the implementation, configuration and on-going maintenance of  Core systems and other application programs. The duties will include research and analysis of application programs, coordination of user training, project management, user support, product testing, problem solving and development of policies and procedures related to application usage.

  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of application features and capabilities in order to provide effective support to the user community.
  • Identify and analyze current  business processes and requirements to support any implementation and configuration activities.
  • Create departmental workflow diagrams as they relate to the application program.
  • Produce and manage application testing scenarios to best support new/revised development and application upgrades/code push activities.
  • Provide individual specific user training related to the appropriate usage of application when issues reported by user community, as needed.
  • Thoroughly document inconsistencies/ issues/ concerns for follow-up and /or resolution by internal support staff or the software vendor.
  • Report the status of assigned tasks and / or related problem issues to the application implementation team.
  • Develop and maintain policies and procedures related to job functions, application configuration, general usage of supported systems and application maintenance.
  • Provide first and second tier support of one or more major organization-wide application/system, including configuration, user support, security and development efforts and has 1000 users or more.
  • Development of multiple tracking documents lending itself to enhanced cross training capabilities and task sharing.
  • Monitor incoming requests for potential impact and provide alternative solutions if necessary, to meet request goals.
  • Assist in the training and introduction of new staff into the support team.
  • Identify and engage other support areas as needed for issue resolution.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to support 's strategic priorities to become a 5-Star Health Plan and incorporate LEAN principles into daily work.
  • Demonstrate commitment to Team Member Engagement by participating in projects/tasks/activities that promote Team Member excitement and enthusiasm for their role, increased work effort, and commitment to the organization.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years in Managed Care experience. Experience successfully managing business relationships with stakeholders – Required.
  • Experience working with Medicare/Medicaid government programs in the area of Accounting, Finance, systems analysis- Preferred.
  • Visio experience – Required. 
  • Workfront reporting experience – Preferred.
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or IT from an accredited (4) four-year institution preferred.

Compensation

  • $23.00/hr – $25.00/hr

  • 6 Month Contract
