CLIENT COMPANY OVERVIEW
Our client is the premier provider of Residentialist care in California. Residentialists are clinicians who specialize in delivering clinical care in the home. For over 12 years our specially-trained team of physicians, nurse practitioners and physician assistants have provided in-home medical care to patients who have difficulty getting to the doctor’s office.
Besides serving individual patients, our client provides clinical care support services for office-based physicians, Medical Groups, Health Plans, Hospitals, and other Health Care Organizations

HEALTHCARE CUSTOMER SERVICE
(Medical Assistant)

The customer service call center representative is responsible for TeleCare call center communications with patients, families and caregivers.

  • Has primary responsibility for coordinating telephonic communications between patients, families, external organizations, clinicians and staff
  • First point of contact for fulfillment of Customer Service Promise to both external and internal customers
  • First point of contact for answering calls from Telecare center, documentation and coordinating all urgent communications and clinical orders in support of the Residentialist, clinicians and their patients, families and caregivers.
  • Provides ongoing support to multiple clinicians
  • Interfaces externally with patients, families caregivers, home healthcare personnel, case managers, social services agencies, pharmacies and supporters of home medical equipment and supplies
  • Interfaces internally with all Residentialist program personnel
  • May be backed up for non-urgent functions by other cross-trained office personnel appropriate and available

QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS

  • Medical Assistant Certificate Required
  • Excellent Telephonic Customer Service Skills
  • High Attention to Detail
  • Comfortable on Computers
    • Outlook (basic)
    • Excel (Basic)
    • CRM (Client Relations Management) Programs Sage ACT!/SalesForce
  • Thrives in fast paced work environment
  • Ability to multitask
  • Bilingual in Spanish a plus
